The Project has been selected for the “Furniture design award in Singapore” competition, in collaboration with Singapore design week.

Baboom is an armchair for the contract furniture market or modern living.
The idea behind the armchair regards playing with mass and void: trapping voids with a surface that resemble a massive object.
The concept includes also the possibility to send more armchairs and saving space, in fact, the main body is composed of two shells that can be stocked to reduce the size of the package for a more eicient shipment. The process to put together the two half is easy due to simple coupling interlocking.
These two light surfaces are characterized by voluptuous surfaces that give the style, the character to the object, but also stiffness.
The shell could be produced with the injection molding technique.
