Ianus is a decorative stone tub/fountain for indoor or outdoor use.
The tub is the result of a digital simulative design and CNC fabrication with a 6 axis robot, milled from a monolithic block of Gray Shadow stone, caved in Turkey.
The design is characterized by a basin of pure geometry, raised from the ground by a structural branching coming from a dynamic subdivision of the upper surface amplified by a gravitropic process. These irregular cave-like bodies that dig the mass, give a light base to the tub. To amplify the reflections when filled with water, the pool is smoothly polished, conversely, the outer side is sanded to give a porous and soft touch to the external roots, to better read the folds and curves.
